There are many ways to freshen up body and soul. Aside from golf, fitness, and other general sports, you might want to try some specialties such as:
- Go-carting at Speedy Karting (Ph 7918-4674) or Redline next to Pondok Indah Mall.
- Paintball at Splash Paintball (Ph 7590-0171) behind Speedy Karting and in Kemang or Patriot Paintball Sport (Ph 539-7777, 537-3838) at Alam Sutra housing complex in Serpong.
- Skateboarding, rollerblading and BMX biking at Sport X Arena (Ph 719-4852, 719-4854) in Kemang.
- Mini golf at Putt Putt in Senayan (Ph 573-4973) or Pasar Festival Kuningan (Ph 5296-2549).
- Horseback riding at Athena Stables (Ph 921-7795/97, 779-3462) in the countryside south of the city at Sawangan.
- Laser Game in Kemang Raya 16A (Ph 718-1921).
There are several water parks where children can enjoy swimming in various kinds of pools with water slides, etc. One is Pondok Indah Water Park (Ph 750-6750) adjacent to Pondok Indah Mall, and it's also worth going out to Lippo Cikarang in Bekasi, to spend a day at Water Boom (Ph 8990-7814), a beautifully landscaped park. Ancol Dreamland in North Jakarta also has the Gelanggang Renang "Water Park" (Ph 681-511/12) featuring a large swimming pool with slides, wave pool, and children's pool.
